Less than a year after announcing their partnership, Bowler Energy part of the John Bowler Group, and wind turbine manufacturer, Vergnet revealed their success to date in the UK at ‘The Renewables Event’ in the NEC Birmingham.
The medium wind energy pioneers announced that a total of seven medium wind energy projects are so far planned in the UK as part of the partnership, with more in the pipeline.
Derbyshire-based Bowler Energy has been working with Vergnet, a global leader in the wind energy industry and manufacturer of medium scale wind turbines since November 2013.
Lucie Bowler from Bowler Energy, commented: “We are delighted with the partnership with Vergnet which will see us progress seven turnkey medium wind energy projects in the coming months with many more in the plan. Choosing the right technology partner is a key consideration for all developers. Alongside strong and profitable production yields, our partnership with Vergnet includes a dedicated UK O&M service which enables us to manage costs, reduce downtime and maximise profit throughout the lifetime of each project.”
Visitors to stand number K47 at The Renewables Event, which is taking place from on 16th and 17th September can find out more about the successful partnership between the two companies, which draws on collective strengths and a significant track record of success in the renewable energy, engineering and agricultural sectors.
The company has recently been listed as an approved supplier for both its wind and solar renewable systems by the National Farmers’ Union and is set to showcase its strong renewable credentials to investors and developers at the ‘The Renewables Event’ in Birmingham.
The medium scale wind market in the UK has almost doubled in size according to a RenewableUK report published in October 2013, due to part to the take-up of the government’s Feed‐In Tariff (FiT) scheme. The medium wind industry market is now worth over £100 million to the British economy.
Diana Popa, UK spokesperson Vergnet commented; “We are looking forward to attending ‘The Renewables Event’ in Birmingham with Bowler Energy and to meeting those keen on developing medium wind energy projects. As our partnership has proven so far, there are many opportunities for landowners, farmers, developers and investors in this sector of the renewables industry. With our collective strengths, we can help at every step to ensure your project progresses and delivers the best possible return over its lifetime.”
